2415384 - Leave balance different in summary and request screen

Available leave balance in Employee time account (Sickness - company) summary is 15:

But while requesting leave of same type, balance shown is different than available balance:

Here the available balance is shown as 29.50 days for Sickness - company leave type

Employee Central - Time off

• In this particular example, the employee gets 15 days sickness leave every year
• Period end processing (PEP) rule was run to close the account for last year
• however, the balance for last year was not made zero and hence the current balance is shown as sum of last year and current year balance. i.e.15+14.9=29.50

• As a best practive always carry forward the allowed balance as per policy to next year account
• Make the last year balance as zero by consciously negating the balance in the PEP rule (the steps are available in EC time-off implementation guide)
• Close the account for previous year
