2416813 - Enabled field not available for concatenation in Business Rule

I enabled the field id="custom-string1"  label = "Sun Family" in EC, but it is not available in a Business rule dropdown.

in other words > Custom String with picklist not available in substring and concatenate functions

Create, Enable and Maintain a field in EC

in this example

Field = "Sub Family"

> attach a picklist

The field is maintained in Job Info

Now > attempt to create a rule to use the field "Sub Family"

The field is available for selection in “Set”

But the field “Sub Family” it is not available for concatenation

Concatenation is not possible, it does not apply for picklist, FO or GO fields

You can use concat functions for string fields ONLY. 

Please note:

There is no plan to introduce this feature in the near future.
