  • SAP Mobile Platform fails to start. The entries below are logged in the start up console:

    SQL Anywhere Server Ping Utility Version 17.0.4.2053 Ping database failed -- Database server not found. "SMP Embedded SQLAnywhere Database Server is not running.

    Starting SAPSMP3ServiceAttempt to start service SAPSMP3Service failed. You must have permission to start it. Press any key to continue . . .

  • In Windows Services, SAPSMPEmbeddedSQLA service is not started

  • When trying to start the SAPSMPEmbeddedSQLA service: Error 1069: The service did not start due to a logon failure.
