2416948 - A Portal Runtime error occurs accessing the Theme Editor under the Standards AJAX Framework Page

Symptom

  • Activate the Standards AJAX Framework Page as per SAP Note: 2001910
  • Open the Theme Editor and open a SAP Standard or Custom Theme
  • Try navigating through the Theme Options (e.g: Portal Masthead, Portal Tool Area, Top-level navigation etc.), a Runtime error will occur
  • Checking the Developer/server Default Trace files you get an error similar to the below:
    "[EXCEPTION]
    com.sap.portal.prt.broker.PortalModuleNotFoundException: Could not retrieve portal application hugo
    at com.sap.portal.prt.broker.PortalAppBroker.ensurePortalModuleIsStarted(PortalAppBroker.java:640)"
