2417228 - How to Delete a Time Account from Employee Central

Can Time Accounts be deleted if customer wants to clean up the Time Accounts of certain employees and create a new one?

• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
• Time Off

It is not recommended to delete Time Accounts; however, if it is absolutely required, follow these steps:

1. Manually delete all the Employee Times related to the Time Account via MDF Manage Data UI
2. Manually delete the Time Account Details under Time Accounts via MDF Manage Data UI
3. Manually delete Time Account(s) via MDF Manage Data UI

OR

Use Imports:

1. Download the Employee Time import template (Via Admin Center > Import and Export Data) > Set the 'Operator' coloumn with value 'DELETE' > enter the detail of the Employee Times related to the Time Account that needs to be deleted > Import (This will delete the Employee Time(s))
2. Download the Time Account-Time Account Details (Via Admin Center > Import and Export Data) > Set the 'Operator' coloumn with value '“Delimit” ' (DELETE is not supported) > Enter the detail of the Time Account Details that needs to be deleted > Import ( This will delete all the Time Account Details(s)). To delete a specific row under Time Account Details, please use DELIMIT operator
3. Download the Time Account import template (Via Admin Center > Import and Export Data) > Set the 'Operator' coloumn with value 'DELETE' > Enter the detail of the Time Account that needs to be deleted > Import ( This will delete the Time Account(s))
