2417878 - SySAM error "License server system does not support this feature" after upgrade of ASE or SRS

• After upgrading to
• ASE 16 SP02 PL05 and higher or
• Replication Server 15.7.1 SP305 and higher
   
• License check out fails with ASE or Replication Server errorlog showing message:

 SySAM: Failed to obtain license(s) for ASE_CORE / REP_SERVER feature from license file(s) or server(s)

   even though an appropriate license is available from the SySAM license server.

• Log of the SySAM server (SYBASE.log) shows:
   
• for ASE

Not master, License server system does not support this feature. (-18,328)
DENIED: "ASE_CORE"  ...  (License server system does not support this feature. (-18,328))
UNSUPPORTED: "ASE_CORE" ...  (License server system does not support this feature. (-18,327))

• for Replication Server

DENIED: "REP_SERVER" ... (License server system does not support this feature. (-18,328))
UNSUPPORTED: "REP_SERVER" ... (License server system does not support this feature. (-18,327))

• Using a served license model.

• SySAM 2.3 or earlier on License server
• SAP Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE) 16.0 SP02 PL05 or higher
• SAP Replication Server (SRS) 15.7.1 SP305 or higher
