2417932 - HTTP 500 Failed to sign the SAP Cloud Connector certificate for account. Verify configuration and proxy settings

Symptom

Adding a new subaccount to SAP Cloud Connector fails with one of the following messages:

  • 500 Host <Region Host> unknown (check your network and proxy settings);
  • ljs_trace.log/scc_core.trc shows "Caused by: org.apache.http.conn.ConnectTimeoutException: Connect to connectivitycertsigning.cf.eu10.hana.ondemand.com:443"

  • "417 Could not download configuration file" with the auto-configuration script enabled usually in port 8083
