2418297 - Error "The following fields have invalid value" Add New Hire - EC

During a new hire an error is faced: "The following fields have invalid value: XXX"

• SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Go to Add new employee 
2. Add all the required information until job information section
3. When clicking continue from Job Information to Compensation receive the error "The following fields have invalid value: [field names]".

There is an association between objects which is missing values for association.

For example, association between LegalEntity and Location.

You will need to find out the missing association value by finding out all the associations for the fields shown in the error.

For example, we verified the LegalEntity association in the Corporate data model and found that its associated to Location object.

And the location which we were using during add new hire was missing LegalEntity value under location.

Maintaining the LegalEntity/company value under location resolves the error.

1. Go to Manage Data 
2. Search the object that has the association with legal entity, in this case location 
3. Select the location added during add new employee 
4. Add the legal entity selected during hire in this object too
