2418845 - "Failed to connect to system" error appears while trying to create model / live data connection to HCP in BusinessObjects Cloud

Symptom

  • "Failed to connect to system" error message appears during the following actions:
    1. Creating:
      • new live data connection to HCP
      • new model from an existing HCP Live Data connection
      • new story from an existing model created from HCP Live Data connection
    2. Opening:
      • model created from HCP Live Data connection
  • Additional symptom is the below error message in story builder, when using a model created from HCP Live Data connection as datasource:
    "This chart can no longer retrieve data from the datasource."
