2419027 - Error Message "External Code for TextCollectionTextTypeCode 1234 of Map Group XY Could not be Determined" When Replicating Accounts to ERP

Symptom

Error Message "CM_MBF_OPA_TRANSF_DEF:An Exception Occurred.External Code for TextCollectionTextTypeCode XXYYZ of Map Group XY Could not be Determined" 
when replicating accounts to SAP ERP.

 

Environment

  • SAP Cloud for Customer
  • SAP ERP

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Administrator work center.
  2. Go to the General Setting work center view.
  3. Open the Web Service Message Monitoring under System Administration.
  4. Select query All.
  5. Search for message with error "CM_MBF_OPA_TRANSF_DEF:An Exception Occurred.External Code for TextCollectionTextTypeCode".

Cause

The account has an internal text maintained in which the local code is not mapped via code list mapping.

Resolution

In order to maintain the Code List Mapping for the Text Type Code, follow the below steps:

  1. Go to the Business Configuration Work Center.
  2. Open the Code List Mapping for Integration with External Applications and Solutions Activity.
  3. Maintain Code List Mapping for TextCollectionTextTypeCode for local context 10296.
  4. Add the supported valid Type Code 10034.
