Symptom
We could decided that, as Lump Sum is paid only once, we might want to publish it to Employee Central as a Non Recurring Component instead of as part of Compensation Information. For that it may be necessary to create a new Pay Component, provide visibility in Role Based Permissions and finally change the configuration in the XML of the Compensation template.

Environment
Compensation
Resolution
In case the Pay Component is not created, we need to go to Admin Center > Employee Files > Manage Organization, Pay and Job Structures > Create New > Pay Component.
As it is a new component we need to grant access to view it on the Employee Files. In this case the field as is a Non Recurring shows up in Employee Data.
As we have decided Lump Sum will be a Non Recurring Pay Component it will be display in the payComponentNonRecurring section of the Employee Files and only if we define a value for it. In this case the section is renamed as One Time Payments.
Finally, the ouptput section in the XML will need to be modified to address the new changes. For that pelase contact your preferred partner so they can modify the code.
