2419181 - Learning Accomplishments - SAP SuccessFactors Learning

What is it?

Learning Accomplishments is a way for users to set target learning goals for topics that interest them and to track their training over time against those goals.

Why is it important?

Users previously had no insight into which areas they were naturally focused on or a summary of how much training they were accomplishing over time. Learning Accomplishments will not only provide users with that insight but will also allow them to set their own pace of learning, motivating them to stick to their training goals. This feature goes well beyond the static learning history view of what they've accomplished and also enables users to easily find more relevant training in areas they are interested in exploring further.

This article outlines the workflows and configurations needed to enable the Learning Accomplishments feature in the system.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

Prerequisites:

1. The setting 'learningAccomplishmentEnabled' is set to 'true' under Learning Administration > System Administration > Configuration > System Configuration > LEARNING_ACCOMPLISHMENT.
2. The user has 'Access Learning Accomplishments' permission added to their role under Learning Administration > System Administration > Security > Role Management.

Once the feature is enabled and the user has the required permissions, they should be able to access their Accomplishments area from their Learning Home Page by clicking 'Accomplishments' from the 'Activities' dropdown menu.

Please note that the categories that appear for the user depend on their library access, meaning the category should be related to at least one item the user has access to from their library.
