2419402 - Clean Table RSR_CACHE_DB_IX after Upgrade to BW 7.40 above

Symptom

  • Cache mode 3, 4 or 5 is used for some BW queries before upgrade, and the persist mode is set as 'Cluster Table' or 'Transparent Table (Blob)' in transaction RSRCACHE -> Cache parameter'
  • Before upgrade, cache is not cleaned. Therefore tables such as RSR_CACHE_DB_IX or RSR_CACHE_DB_BL contains a big amount of cache data
  • After upgrade, you want to clean big tables like RSR_CACHE_DB_IX or RSR_CACHE_DB_BL to optimize DB storage usage. However transaction RSRCACHE -> delete and report RSR_CACHE_FULL_RESET can't clear these entries in these tables any more
