When defining a budget for an EC Integrated tempalte and selecting Modes PercentOfCurSal or PercentOfCustomField and Based On user, the system shows a Validation Error.

Cause
The Validation Error is displayed as the system needs an EC field to define the percentage of Current Salary or Custom Field that needs to be applied to the Budget for each user. We need to add that field in the EC Field Mapping field displayed under "Show advanced options...".
Resolution
Once we have defined our field the system will save the budget definition.
