2. Government Reporting Overview and Configuration
2.1. Government Reporting Functionality
+ Develop for compliance with French Government Declaration 2483
+ May also be applicable in Australia, Spain, Canada, etc.
+ Customers can use LMS to:
- Capture Training hours upon completion of a training event
- Associate trianing hours to a relevant training program
- Identify hours spent outside of work on the training event
- Provide reporting capabilities
2.2. Details on French Training Programs
- DIF (Droit Individuel a la Formation)
+ Individual Entitlement to Training
+ 20 Hours / Year (can accumulate over 6 years up to 120 hours)
+ Covers permanent staff (Contrat a Duree Indeterminee (DCI))
+ Temporary Staff (Worked for 4 months or more during last 12 months)
- POP (La Prestation d'Orientation Professionnelle)
+ Provision of Vocational Training
+ Available for everyone
2.3. 2483 Eligibility and Requirements
- Companies operating in France with more than 10 Employees
- Companies must provide:
- 20 Hours DIF training each year per employee
- Funding for DIF and POP programs
- Companies prepare Tax Form 2483 each year with:
- Amount of money spent on all types of trianing
- Contributions to DIF and POP funds
- Hours of training provided (in DIF and POP programs or not)
- a request for reimbursement for each course attended

2.7.1. Import User Records for Demo
1. Go to System Admin->Tools->Import Data -> Download template for User
2. Populate the template:
a. Flag users to be included in government reporting
b. Specify gender, legal entity, employees class, age, disability
c. Upload hourly rate and currency + adjusted if desired
3. Save and upload the users records via Import Data tool
If the employee undertakes training outside working hours, employeer must pay employee an allowence = 50% of the net amount of salary
2.7.2. Import Data for Users/Year/Country/DIF
1. Go to System Admin->Tools->Import Data -> Download template for Government Reporting
2. Populate the template
a. User IDs for users to be included in government reporting
b. Year(s) to include these users in reporting
c. Country for which the user will be included
d. DIF limit for the year
2.7.3. Administrator Confirms User Settings
1. Log in to admin side and go to User->Related More -> Government Reporting
2. Confirm DIF hours and related settings for relevant financial year
2.7.4. Administrator Sets Up Item for Reporting
Define Item settings related to govenment reporting:
1. Enable include in goverment reporting
2. Select 2483 Legal Entity
3. Select Training Type (Internal/External)
4. Settings are carred over to each offering
