Symptom

SAP system work processes stop and cannot restart. SAP system does not restart afterwards after multiple tries

In the work process OS joblogs, you find the codes

  • CPF7003  Entry not journaled to journal QSQJRN. Reason code 5. (Reason code 5 - an internal journal error occurred)
  • CPF4329  Cannot associate journal QSQJRN with commitment definition *JOB
  • CPF7091  Entry not journaled to journal QSQJRN. Reason code 5  (Reason code 5 - an internal journal error occurred)
