2421215 - The remote server could not be found error while connecting to SAP Cloud Platform in SAP Analytics Cloud

• The following error appears while trying to create a Live Data connection to the SAP Cloud Platform (HANA database):
  "The remote server could not be found. Please check that the Live Data connection details are correct."
  
• Issue is only reproducible using URL type: https://epmprod<InstanceNum><Account>.hana.ondemand.com/t/<TenantNumber>
• Using simplified URL works: https://<Company>.<Region>.sapbusinessobjects.cloud

• SAP Analytics Cloud 2016.24.03
• SAP HANA Cloud Platform

1. Login to SAP Analytics Cloud with the URL type: https://epmprod<InstanceNum><Account>.hana.ondemand.com/t/<TenantNumber>
2. Create a new Live Data Connection.
3. Enter the connection details:
• Connection Type: SAP HANA Cloud Platform
• System Type: HANA
• SAP HANA Cloud Platform Account: <Your HCP Account>
• Database Name: <Your HCP Database Name>
• Landscape Host: <The Landscape host of the HCP Account>
• User name: <HCP USER having "sap.bc.ina.service.v2.userRole::INA_USER" Role>
• Password: <Password for the above user>
4. Click on "OK".
5. Observe the error.

The URL with the tenant number defined is deprecated / no longer used.

Use the public (new) URL to logon to the system: https://<Company>.<Region>.sapbusinessobjects.cloud
