2421720 - "[412] Password found in password blocklist*" error during HANA Upgrade

Symptom

During the upgrade of your HANA System using SUM 1.0 SP18 PL8, you get the following error:

SAP DBTech JDBC: [412]: invalid password layout: (part of) password was found in password blocklist*

So far, this error has been found in phases SHDUNINST_DB_PREP and HDBSLLIB_CHK_PRIVILEGES.
