2421838 - ASE Infected with 11 (SIGSEGV) in vu_pd_validresdom

Symptom

  • Client connection unexpectedly terminated
  • Errorlog contains an infected with 11 error with a stack trace that includes the following functions, followed by error 279:

vu_pd_validresdom
vu_pd_test_copy
vu_pushdown

Example of error 279:

Msg 279, Level 16, State 1:
Server 'sybase', Line 2:
TEXT, IMAGE, UNITEXT and off-row Java datatypes are invalid in this subquery or aggregate expression.
ASE is terminating this process.
