2421948 - How To: Enable Open Document tracing manually in the BI Platform

Symptom

  • Cannot produce Trace/Log files for the Open Document web application in SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform (BI) version 4.x/2025 or above
  • Setting the TraceLog option to Low, Medium or High in the Central Management Console (CMC) under Applications / Open Document does not produce any log files on the disk
  • End to End traces produce no logs on the disk for Open Document workflows

Note:  Previous version of the BI Platform created log files in the C:\SBOPWebapp_OpenDocument_<ip address>_<port>\ folder
