This KBA is gives further information about mapping a Job Code using custom fields/other fields.

SAP SuccessFactors Job Description Manager

Through the Data Model

1. Open Provisioning;

2. Export the Data Model;

3. Add the following XML code for the Job Code Mapping:

4. Import the modified Data Model back to the system and check if the changes reflected

Through Provisioning/JDM:

1. Go to Families and Roles;

2. See that it is possible to Map Job Code using custom field:

   

• Through JPB:

1. Go to Manage Job Profile Content;

2. Select Setup Families and Role;

3. Click on Role;

4. Hit the Map Job Code button;

5. See that mapping Job Code using custom field is not possible:

   

As per the current product design, Job Profile Builder does not support mapping Job Codes using custom fields/other fields. This functionality is only available to JDM.
