2421982 - RFC-error related to currency rate in "Create Purchase Requisitions" App

Symptom

In the 'Create Purchase Requisition' app, a user adds an item with an incorrect currency (e.g.: EUP instead of EUR). After this, the following error appears, even if you close and re-open the app:

Example: "RFC-Error: Enter rate pc / EUP rate type M for 01.01.2017 in the system settings".
