Symptom
The SFAPI integration to update candidate's data is failing with the "INTERNAL_ERROR (Internal error occurred!)" message.

Cause
Due to bad implementation of the integration, this article describes how to fix "INTERNAL_ERROR (Internal error occurred!)" message in SFAPI for Candidate’s integration when updating the field "extCandUserId".
Navigate to Admin Center > SFAPI audit log > SOAP > Response message in order to verify the error log:
Resolution
To fix this issue, first check the configured entity within the client’s instance: Admin Center > SFAPI Data Dictionary:
The above name has to match the name implemented in the integration. If the name does not match, as showed in the next figure, advise the client to talk to the responsible team for the integration (who built the integration) to make the necessary changes.
To check the integration message, navigate to admin center > SFAPI audit log > SOAP > Request message.
