2422529 - RUNTIME ERROR “ASSERTION FAILED” related to Class CL_GRFN_API_IDENT for requests raised from IDM to GRC

Symptom

  • Issue may be sporadic and only for some requests from IDM and not all
  • Requests raised from IDM to GRC are causing RUNTIME ERROR “ASSERTION FAILED”  related to Class CL_GRFN_API_IDENT. In the dump ABAP stack there are two methods from GRC involved:
