2422532 - Import/Export Error: Duplicate definition for same attribute

When trying to import data through Import and Export Data or Manage Job Profile Content Import/Export, receive an error:

Duplicate definition for same attribute

• SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
• SAP SuccessFactors Job Profile Builder

1. Log in to system
2. Navigate to Admin Center > Import and Export Data
3. For Select the action to perform, select Import Data
4. Populate all applicable fields and select a file to import > Import
5. Navigate to Admin Center > Scheduled Job Manager
6. Locate the job and select View Details
7. Select Download Status
8. Open the file and see the error message

OR

1. Log in to system
2. Navigate to Admin Center > Manage Job Profile Content Import/Export
3. Populate all applicable fields and select a file to import > Import
4. Navigate to Admin Center > Scheduled Job Manager
5. Locate the job and select View Details
6. Select Download Status
7. Open the file and see the error message

Incorrect import file format

Check File Formatting through Import and Export Data

1. Log in to system
2. Navigate to Admin Center > Import and Export Data
3. For Select the action to perform, select Export Data
4. Populate all applicable fields > Export
5. Navigate to Admin Center > Scheduled Job Manager
6. Locate the job and select View Details
7. Select Download Status
8. Open the file
9. Compare the newly downloaded system file export to your import file
10. Confirm the data and data types are correct
11. Ensure valid values are populated for each column
12. Save the file
13. Upload file again

Check File Formatting through Manage Job Profile Content Import/Export

1. Log in to system
2. Navigate to Admin Center > Manage Job Profile Content Import/Export
3. For Download Data Import File Template, select the applicable template
4. Select Yes
5. Navigate to Admin Center > Scheduled Job Manager
6. Locate the job and select View Details
7. Select Download Status
8. Open the file
9. Compare the newly downloaded template to your import file
10. Confirm the data and data types are correct
11. Ensure valid values are populated for each column
12. Save the file
13. Upload file again
