How to remove Edit Comments permission from explain text.

All datacenters.

To remove Edit Comments permission:

Log in as an Admin user that has access to User Maintenance and Role Maintenance. 

1. Admin > Role Maintenance

2. Roles > find and select role

3. Select Edit in the Permissions section title

4. Select Actions tab

5. Check "show un-restricted permissions"

6. Uncheck Edit Footnotes

7. Select Save

 

Please note that the user with Role settings above will still have access to the "Edit Comments" button and screen. However, no input of text is able to be saved. An error message will be produced if the OK button is selected after text input as below.
