2423967 - Header and Footer in Document Generation-EC

Symptom

Header and footer needs to be added to templates and populated while generating letter even if the letters are multiple pages.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Document Generation

Cause

As of now, the complete template content will be shown in the document.
There is no differentiation like header or footer features available.

Resolution

Header and footer is not supported in Document Generation in the traditional sense.
As a workaround you can add an image of the header and footer you want into the top and bottom of your doc template.
This image needs to be stored on your SFTP SF server and the link inserted into the document.
However, it's not possible for this image to appear on each page if multiple pages of document.
