Symptom

How to Configure an Alert Message for Maximum Number of Days Exceeded for a Particular Time Type, when Requests are put through on seperate occassions.

Reproducing the Issue

Customer is using Anniversary configuration.

If you have a requirement to trigger an alert message when maximum number of days for particular time type in total is exceeded, you can assign a take rule to the time type.
For example you only want employees to be able to book off a maximum of 5 days sickness in an anniversary account year (not just a maximum of 5 days in one individual request, but 5 days in total.) An error message will appear saying that they are exceeding the 5 days.

Resolution

Customer can use the rule function "get absence in days..." and calculate the start / end date with the "date plus" function.
