2424376 - How do you create an enhancement request and provide feedback for SAP Analytics Cloud?

Symptom

Resolution

Continuous Influence is a program for customers and partners to share feedback and ideas that help enhance SAP solutions. It enables customers to submit ideas and to vote on them.

Ideas are reviewed by SAP Product Management. Votes help to prioritize ideas along with other important selection criteria:

  • DESIRABILITY: How many customers voted for this? How many customers will benefit from it?
  • VIABILITY: Is this Improvement Request globally relevant? Is this in alignment with SAP's strategy for the product?
  • FEASIBILITY: Is the development effort realistic? Is this request achievable within the product's architecture?

All ideas are welcome and valuable. The SAC Customer Influence site is a crucial tool for the SAP Analytics Cloud Product Team to enhance its functionality according to customer needs. Note that the volume of ideas is typically higher than the scope of what can be accomplished on the product development roadmap.

How this works:

  1. Open the SAP Customer Influence site.
  2. Log on with an S-user and accept the terms of use.
  3. Navigate to the SAP Analytics Cloud Continuous Influence sessions.
  4. Search if the idea has already been submitted by another customer; if not, log the idea.
  5. Vote for ideas that are relevant to the organization. Note: A minimum number of votes is required for the idea to be reviewed. See the info area of the SAP Analytics Cloud Customer Influence page for the threshold.
  6. If no matching idea is found, use the Submit Improvement button to create a new idea and fill out the relevant template.
  7. Once an idea has been submitted, other customers can see and vote for it. Ideas that reach the voting threshold will be reviewed.
  8. Note that each product session may have a different threshold — this information is on the session landing page.
  9. Ideas with little to no votes are automatically closed to aid navigation and visibility for the community.
  10. Each quarter, a blog is posted with information on the accepted and delivered ideas.
