When trying to send a spot award, searching for and selecting an employee causes an error:

SAP SuccessFactors Reward and Recognition

1. Log in to SuccessFactors
2. Navigate to Home dropdown > Compensation
3. Select the Reward and Recognition tab
4. Search for someone to nominate
5. Receive error

• Employee is outside of the nominator's target population and/or program
• An eligibility rule has not been associated to a spot award program

The employee must be part of the target population in the nominator's role-based permissions. To correct the target population, please review Implementing and Managing Reward and Recognition - Spot Award Permissions.

An eligibility rule has not been associated to a spot award program

For both Employee Central (EC) and Non-EC users, if no rules are associated under the eligibility tab, none of the employees are eligible for the program.
