2426054 - IQ database fails to start when many log files are generated - SAP IQ 

Symptom

IQ database fails to start with the below error when number of generated iqdemo.xxx.srvlog is greater than 1000.  For example:
start_iq @iqdemo.cfg iqdemo.db

Error:  Cannot create default log file iqdemo.XXX.svrlog ($IQLOGDIR16 is full)
The directory /opt/SAP/iq16/IQ-16_X/logfiles contains 1028 files.
Please clean out old server logs before re-running.
Unable to continue.
