2426204 - HANA DSI EXEC ERROR #151 with Msg 257 "Syntax error or access violation" - SRS

Symptom

Replication to HANA database with High Volume Adaptive Replication (HVAR) enabled.

DSI EXEC failed with the following error:

ERROR #151 DSI EXEC(184(1) HANADB.HANADB) - /generic/dsi/hqocs.c(4889)
     Bulk-Lib routine 'RCIPrepare' failed.
     Message: 257, State 0, Severity 5 -- '[ statement ][ HANADB] SQLPrepare [SAP AG][LIBODBCHDB SO][HDBODBC]
    Syntax error or access violation;257 sql syntax error: line 1 col 388 (at pos 388)'.
     HQCPL: HQ execution exception occurred while applying to table [nil][nil]...
