2426336 - Performance analysis of external RFC server programs (registered program)

Symptom

Symptom 1:

The parallel RFC processing of an external RFC desination in SM58 is very slow even the setting which decribed
in the note 400330 has already finished.

Symptom 2:

Connection test of External RFC destination in T-code:SM59 finished with high response time:

Logon 58841 msec
Transfer of 0 KB 39388 msec
Transfer of 10 KB 54724 msec
Transfer of 20 KB 39471 msec
Transfer of 30 KB 62004 msec

And the connection test of extenal RFC desination failed sporadically with following timeout error:

Error Details ERROR: timeout during allocate of registered program
Error Details LOCATION: SAP-Gateway on host Hostname/ sapgw00
Error Details DETAIL: TP Test_Program init/busy for more than 60 sec

Below is an illstrated external RFC destination setting:

Along with Symptom 1&2,the Active Connections in the Gatewar monitor(T-code:SMGW) for the external RFC destination could be
found with the following status.

12 Host1 sapgw21   Host6 Test_Program User1 Connected EXTERNAL RFC PROGRAM 34212156 Registered Communication Wed Feb  8 10:00:02 2017 0 0
16 Host2 sapgw22   User2 connecting EXTERNAL RFC PROGRAM 34208154 Registered Communication Wed Feb  8 09:59:44 2017 0 0
31 Host3 sapgw23   User3 connecting EXTERNAL RFC PROGRAM 34210155 Registered Communication Wed Feb  8 09:59:44 2017 0 0
34 Host4 sapgw24   User4 connecting EXTERNAL RFC PROGRAM 34209155 Registered Communication Wed Feb  8 09:59:44 2017 0 0

Only one active connection is status 'Connected',other active connections are waiting to access the registered program, status is 'Connecting'.
