2426961 - IcmExtSidModifyEntry: FtInsert failed (Maximum number of sessions exceeded)

Symptom

The ICM trace file (dev_icm) show the following error:

[Thr 20790] *** ERROR => IcmExtSidModifyEntry: FtInsert failed 
[Thr 20790] {01b91261} Maximum number of sessions exceeded
  • Note that the "Maximum number of sessions exceeded" appears after the FtInsert failed.
  • If the error is NOT followed by the message "Maximum number of sessions exceeded", you should refer to the KBA 1906474 - ESID FtInsert failed
