2426975 - Cannot change/modify SQL Anywhere after EBF update

Symptom

After applying an EBF for SQL Anywhere, the program can no longer be modified/changed from the add/remove programs list within control panel.

Possible error messages

  • The installed product does not match the installation source(s).
  • The path 'C:\Users\localuser\AppData\Local\Temp\pftBXXX~tmp\SQLANY64.msi' cannot be found.
  • Error 1731.  The source installation package for the product SQL Anywhere 17 is out of sync with the client package.
  • Fatal error durring installation.
