2426995 - Missing "Legacy Career Path" Permission in Miscellaneous Permissions

Symptom

  • In Role Based Permissions (RBP), Legacy Career Path is not available in Miscellaneous Permissions.
  • Legacy Career Path is required in order to grant users access to Career Path in the Development Tab of SAP SuccessFactors.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Career Path v2 is enabled in Provisioning (JDM 2.0 not enabled)
  2. Go to Admin Center > Manage Permission Roles > Miscellaneous Permissions
  3. Legacy Career Path is not available or it displays message:

There are no secured objects in this category.

Cause

The LegacyCareerPathV2Bean object is not configured as Secured (RBP) in Configure Object Definitions.

Resolution

  1. Go to Admin Center > Configure Object Definitions.
  2. Search Object Definition > Legacy Career Path.
  3. At the top right, click on Take Action and select Make Correction.
  4. Scroll down to Security section.
  5. Change "Security" to "Yes"
  6. Change "Permission Category" to "Miscellaneous Permissions".
  7. Click Save.
