Symptom

Subcontracting purchase requisitions (PR) and purchase orders (PO) does not explode the bill of materials (BOM) in S/4 HANA system, even though it is valid and the indicator MARC-ALTSL (Method for Selecting Alternative Bills of Material) was maintained in the material master.
