  5. Gender field is not mapped

Cause

Employee Central Data Model has the field Gender, with Picklist Data Type, but external code is not properly configured in the picklist itself.

Resolution

If using Picklist, you need to ensure that the values have the following external codes configured: M (Male), F (Female), U (Unknown), D (Undeclared) and O (Others).

If using Data List, ensure that the Code for the Data List has the value M (Male) and F (Female).

  1. Add the field on the Panel ensuring it is Picklist Data Type or Drop Down Data Type.
  2. If Picklist field is used on the Panel, maintain the field in the Data Dictionary as follows:
    • Type = Picklist
    • Integration type = Code Based
    • Picklist Name = Gender
  3. If Data List, maintain the field in the Data Dictionary as follows:
    • Type = Lookup
    • Lookup name = Gender
    • Lookup Key = Code
  4. Proceed to the Field Mapping tool for integration with Employee Central, and map the value
    • Onboarding field = The key you used in the Data Dictionary and the Panel
    • Category = Personal Information
    • Field Mapping = Gender
  5. Validate & Save.
  6. Proceed to Manage Pending Hire/Recruits to view results.
