Symptom

When creating or testing a MssqlLogReaderAdapter remote source one of the following errors is seen:

  • "Executing SQL statement "create adapter "MssqlLogReaderAdapter" at location agent "AGENT"" failed with SAP DBTech JDBC: [403]: internal error: Cannot get adapter capabilities: Failed to install and start Microsoft SQLServer JDBC driver bundle.
  • <remote_source_name>:dberror($.hdb.Connection.executeProcedure): 403 - SQL error, server error code: 403. internal error: Test unsuccessful for remote source <remote_source_name> Reason: Failed to install and start Microsoft SQLServer JDBC driver bundle. at BuiltinProcedure/impl/BP_CheckRemoteSource.cpp:81
