2429170 - Reporting on Future Dated Hires

Symptom

We would like to report on future hire’s in the system.

We would like to be able to report on User Personal Information and Job Information

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go To  Reports 
  2. Adhoc Reports
  3. Create New
  4. Select any Sub Domain such as: Person and Employment Export, Person and Employment Info (as of date) or Job Information (date range)
  5. People > Other Filters > Include Inactive users
  6. Filters > User/Employee ID
  7. Choose Employee ID of a Future Hire
  8. Click Preview > No data shown in report 

Cause

Employee is a future dated hire and there effective hire date has not been met

Resolution

For a user to be reportable, they must have been at one time active in the database

Until the future hire becomes active in Employee Central, it is not possible to report on their employment information
