2429198 - Poor Performance During Employee Replication

Symptom

You require to replicate new Employees from an External system. But system takes more than 5 minutes to Replicate a new Employee.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Master Data Replication work center
  2. Go to Employees view
  3. Go to Failed/Not Started Employees
  4. Search for any Employee
  5. Select Edit
  6. Select the Replicate button
  7. System takes more than 5 minutes to Replicate a new Employee

Cause

An Employee may take more than 5 minutes time to be Replicated. It always depends where in the Organizational Structure the Employee is located and additionally if its a Manager position. The Organizational Management is doing some calculations up the hierarchy structure.

Resolution

This is the expected system behaviour.
