Symptom
When a user is enrolled/registered for a Class, the notification for the registration was received but the ICS/VCAL was not received.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Learning
Resolution
The VCAL/ICS is part of the SystemEnrollmentNotification notification. If part of it is being received then the system is sending the notification out correctly.
Go to:
- Learning Administration > Learning Activities > Classes
- Search for the Class and access the record
- Check the Contact Email Address Field
- If this field has information, then the VCAL/ICS is being sent from this email address rather than the system email address
If testing the notification with a user that has a public domain email address and all the notifications are received, then the issue lies with the Contact Email Address having a domain that is not accepted by your local SMTP (mail) server that is managed by your IT team. Either remove the Contact Email Address, change it to an IT approved domain, or discuss with your IT team to not block that email domain.
