Using Firefox browser, you require to access Implementation Projects view in Business Configuration workcenter to make changes to the project, but you experience a crash/ dump while accessing the same.
Environment
SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer, SAP Business ByDesign
Reproducing the Issue
- Login to Silverlight using Firefox
- Go to Business Configuration work center
- Select Implementation Projects view
- System throws an exception
The Silverlight plugin has crashed.
Reload the page to try again.
Cause
With new Firefox version greater than 40.0 or above, there is some changes made which Silverlight is unable to handle. Due to this, exception is triggered. There is no solution from Firefox or Microsoft.
Resolution
Mozilla Firefox is currently not supported on Silverlight UI. Please refer System Requirements document using below link.
We recommend to use Internet Explorer browser. If there is any critical activity which needs to be performed using Firefox browser, please report an case to SAP stating business reasons.
