2430483 - Unable to Change the "Hide Old Value" Field for "effectiveStartDate" on Job Function Object

Unable to change the "Hide Old Value" field for "effectiveStartDate" on Job Function Object

1) Navigate to the "Job Function/ Family" Object definition in Configure Object Definitions.
 2) Select "Take Action: Make Correction".
 3) In the "Details " of the "effectiveStartDate" field, change the value of the "Hide Old Value"  field to "No".
 4) Save.
 5) Check the "Details" of the "effectiveStartDate" field and the value of the "Hide Old Value"  field, has reverted back to "Yes".

This is currently the expected behaviour of the System.

The Job Function/Family object definition has hardcoded value selected for this field, set to "Yes".
You are there for unable to overwrite this, by changing the Value in the UI.
