2431352 - Partner Channel Management: Role Assignment is not Reflecting from Portal to C4C

Symptom

You did the activation of Account using the below process but the changes to the role assignment are not reflecting in C4C.

Step 1: Register to Identity management.
Step 2: Activate the account, new user gets the role Applicant" in Portal app.
Step 3. Approve the application in C4C. That should change the role to Portal Manager in sap Portal. But does not happen.
Step 4: User logs in again and although the application is approved, the title is the same because the role was not changed.

Resolution

The callback URL is a background job that runs at a duration of a day (overnight). It means that once the application is approved, the portal role changes only next day, post which if the user logins in the portal he/she can see the apps.
