2433263 - OLAP connection to HANA is not showing up in Analysis for Office

Symptom

The OLAP connection to HANA system created in BI CMC is not showing up in Analysis for Office.

Environment

SAP Analysis for Microsoft Office

Reproducing the Issue

Create OLAP connection to HANA system in BI CMC;
Start Analysis for Office;
Connect to BI platform;
Confirm that the OLAP connection to HANA is not available in the list of connections.

Resolution

Analysis for Office 2.x version only supports OLAP connection to HANA if the provider is "SAP HANA http" as shown below:
