2433397 - Invalid OAM page (OAMINVALID_1) with stacktrace when killing spid - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • After a spid running 'update statistics' is killed
  • ASE errorlog show 'Invalid OAM page' message for killed spid with a stacktrace :

00:0001:00000:00123:...  Process id 291 killed by Hostname my_host , process id 12345.
....
00:0001:00000:00291:...  Invalid OAM page (OAMINVALID_1) stat 4: pageno=12345678, sdes_stat=16, pstat=0x181, dbid=2, pptnid=-987654321, pindid=0, expected ptnid=-987654321
