2433637 - Enabling manager notification when user withdraws from a class

Symptom

Can the manager and admin receive a notification when the Learning User withdraws from a Class?

Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

Reproducing the Issue

The user withdraw the registration from a class.

Resolution

If the Learning user withdraws from the class, then an Unenrollment Notification (SystemUnenrollmentNotification) only goes to the user's manager and not to the Learning admin.

In order for the Manager to be a recipient for the notification, the setting "Email confirmation to the Manager" needs to be enabled at class level.

  1. Access Learning Administration >
  2. Learning Activities >
  3. Classes >
  4. Find the class >
  5. Under 'Details' tab, find the section "Email Confirmation for User-Initiated Actions" >
  6. Enable the option "Email confirmation to the Manager". This will notify managers of users who are registered for the class of any action that the users have taken to modify the class details.
