Symptom

  • Follow the documented procedure to reload primary + replicate db from the same dump 

  • Error messages logged whenever starting repagent with "resync init" 

    • ASE errorlog (Observed with ASE 16 SP02 PL0
       
      RepAgent(30): Error in passthru packet: '_ds 10 1 ,4 ~,A'.
      RepAgent(30): Received the following error message from the Replication Server: Msg 14027. Replication Agent for 'ase16_dataservername.databasename' is already connected..
      Shutting down Rep Agent for database, 'databasename' (dbid = 30)

    • SRS errorlog:
       
      ERROR #14027 USER(repservername_ra) - neric/exec/execint.c(3310) Replication Agent for 'ase16_dataservername.databasename' is already connected.
