2433842 - ORA-01407: cannot update column to NULL - SRS

Symptom

  • Oracle-to-Oracle replication using SAP Replication Agent for Oracle (RAO), SAP Replication Server (SRS) and Express Connect for Oracle (ECO)
  • Target DSI goes down with the following error message:
    • Message from server: Message: 1407, State 0, Severity 5 -- '[ statement ][ cdciap ] ociStmt::Execute ORA-01407: cannot update
      ("USER"."TABLE"."COLUMN") to NULL'.
      THREAD FATAL ERROR #5049 DSI EXEC(103(1) ECO.ORACLE) - neric/dsi/dsiqmint.c(4794) The DSI thread for database 'ECO.ORACLE' is being shutdown.
